Morse was in the Air force and served in Vietnam from 1966-1967. He was very patriotic and proud to have served his country. Morse worked in food and beverage sales his whole life and was well respected in this industry. He had many hobbies during his lifetime but his true love was golfing. He could be found on the golf course every weekend morning ready to tee off with his buddies and his mother when the sun came up. The weather never deterred him from playing. As his health declined over the last several years, and he was unable to golf, Morse spent his time gardening and spending his time outdoors. He loved going to swap meets and finding lawn art for his yard.
