Nathan Daniel Rodriguez was born on September 4, 1986, in Fresno, California, and died on March 7, 2026, at the age of 39. A compassionate, kind-hearted, hard-working man, Nathan’s life was marked by steady devotion to the people he cared for and the family who loved him. After this introduction, he will be remembered as Nathan for the warmth he brought into every room and the quiet strength he carried through life.
Nathans mother described him as her rock here on earth, and he helped alongside her, taking care of his older brother Andrew who was brain injured up until Nate’s passing. Nate always cared for his brother with lots of humor, and even more love while playing his new favorites and classic songs for him. He loved making his brother laugh, especially when he would walk in and call him his favorite nickname, “Adolfo Waffle”. Nathan was very protective of him, and always made sure he upheld his dignity and respect. Nathan was selfless in his actions at home and was willing to sacrifice what he needed to and wanted to, in order to be there for his family, always.
Nathan is survived by his mother, Loreta (Lori) Rodriguez; his brother, Andrew Ryan Rodriguez; his nephew, Andrew Ryan Rodriguez; and his nieces, Ryan Taylor Westrum and Leyah Monet Rodriguez. Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Andrew R. Rodriguez; his brother, Steven Paul Rodriguez; his grandmother, Emilia Reynoso; and his grandfather, Andrew Flores Rodriguez. Nathan will also be lovingly remembered by his 6 great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Though his time was far too short, Nathan’s legacy is uplifting in the way it continues—through the love he gave so freely, the care he offered so faithfully, and the enduring memories held close by all who knew him.
