I am deeply sorry to find out that my friend Neil has passed. We worked together when we were younger at the Palo Verde and Bay City Nuclear Generating Stations in Arizona and Texas. We were roommates for many years. I still have fond memories of Neil, his smile, his laugh, his friendship. He was a great human being, who cared so much about others. Jane, Mark and Karen, you are in my prayers. I hope your hearts heal by knowing how lucky you were to have him as a husband and father.

Neil was not just a colleague, but also a friend who had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and included.  His positive outlook and friendly demeaner made him a joy to be around.
While at Caltrans, he was one of the Project Managers I learned a lot from, and he played a significant role in my moving to Project Management.  I admired his ability to organize and despite his workload had one of the neatest desks I have seen.
Even after he retired, I looked forward to our social gatherings at Burgers and Brew or the weekend walks to catch up on the latest happenings.
I am going to miss you, my Friend.  May your soul Rest in Peace.

Although I had known of Neil for many years, it was when he was in a temp assignment at the District Office that I got to know him.  He was always soft spoken, patient and so knowledgeable.  Just an overall nice person.  May all of your precious memories bring you comfort and peace in the days to come.  My deepest sympathies.

Jane, Mark and Karen- I found out today that Neil had passed. Needless to say I was shocked. You could not have had a better husband, father and friend. I am speechless, and can only say I am so sorry to hear this tragedy.

Neil was a great mentor for me through my career!  He always stopped to discuss things with me and was so kind with his advice.  Never made me feel silly for asking questions but we laughed at my out of the box logic.

Other than at work, Neil was a personal friend.  We played softball together, and he was part of our tiny happy hour group where we vetted, laughed and solved all the world problems.  Jane and Neil were always so gracious to open their beautiful home to all.  I will miss you so much my friend!

Prayers for Jane, Mark and Karen.  Neil always spoke about you all and how you were all doing because of his great love for his family.  So glad you all spend time together on your vacations and will have those great memories!

Neil was a friend, a great resource to me at Caltrans in Project Management, a person you could always count on, and a joy to work with. He will be missed.
My heart and prayers goes out to Jane, Mark, and Karen, and family. He was always proud of you.

When we moved from San Diego to Fresno in 1990, Neil was one of two people I’d known previously.  He and Jane invited us to their home and made us feel very welcome. We remained friends throughout the remainder of our careers. Mary and I send our deepest condolences to Jane and the kids!

Neil was a great person and a great coach for me. I worked with him on few good projects. Neil was a very hard working and caring individual. The one thing of many things I remember about Neil is that you could always count on him for good guidance.
