Nic made this of me back when I was starting to find myself as a musician. I met him in Fresno through music and he became a friend. He was a genuine soul and a great listener. Thank you Nic for offering your friendship and honoring me with your gift of art. Condolences to his family and loved ones.

I just found out today of your passing. I’m so so sad to know you are gone. I met Nic on Facebook in 2017 when he posted an engagement ring and it was a bogo deal his job was having, I made a joke about it and he friend requested me and told me I was really funny. We would chat often and over the years we would share some jokes. I loved his drawings so much and his love for his pets. He was so funny and so special. I don’t think he ever realized how much he meant to so many people. I watched his struggles recently and wish I could’ve taken his pain away. He is going to be missed so much. My condolences to all of his family, friends and his pets he left behind ❤️

You were the first to tell us we were pregnant (with this little girl) before we knew it, and of course SOOOOO freaking adamant that I'd have her Christmas day. Little did we know. You were and will continue to be the biggest pain in my a**. I debated on posting these images, but I felt like it was only fair to share the Nic I knew. I know you’d get a kick out of it all over again and tell me “You know you love me little best friend” and we would argue until you got me to admit it. You’re the only one that got joy out of terrorizing me every shift which made me mad, but somehow you still made me laugh so hard my belly would hurt. One of my favorite memories was when you hid the stupid wooden snake throughout the store in the most random spots just to see who you could scare. It was all fun and games until we accidentally hid the snake so well that we would forget where it was until we heard screaming. We also can’t forget how you thought it was hilarious to fart, and I would have to chase you around the store with the air freshener. I could go on forever telling our funny stories, but I think the most important thing I got to know about you was your heart. You are one of the kindest people I’ve met, and that alone made you so special. I’ll miss you greatly, but I know you’ll find a way to pick on me from heaven.

I thought of you for many years, and even tho we didn’t speak for a long while I always told you I was proud of you.. All your hard work of progressing and growth.. Losing weight, cleaning up and getting back to work.. I was bummed when we parted ways..
Out of everyone I ever met, family, friends, boyfriends you were the only person that could make me laugh even if I was mad.. You were a great listener, sarcastic jokester and a charmer, which on some days got you in trouble but it was all love.. I loved our yard working, music, bike riding, dancing, sci-fi, trip’y deep conversation earthy days.. 
I’m very much sad that you left us so young.. 
God always takes the good ones first.. 
I felt so good when I stopped by after so many years. Us speaking again, hugging and apologizing to eachother was very refreshing.. 
You always gave the best hugs bro! 
I wish we could of stayed connected but my mothers passing was difficult and now just months later your gone.. I can’t wrap my head around it.. It’s an awful feeling..;(

Nic, you are my best friend, my lil annoying brother. This seems unreal. 30 years of friendship, but that past 12+ of we were more like family. My brother. Life threw a swing at us.. and even though the road was a bit rocky at times we had the most fun together, true brother sister bond...You know we loved you so very much. We have what no one had and I'm glad that we got experience YOU!!! Even though you had many friends, we were family and we are blessed to know all of YOU! This picture was after his sisters surprised him for his birthday to the strip club for the first time lol, we then ended at McDonald's lol. He had so much fun.
