
Pam was born in Fresno, on March 16, 1951 to Don and Leona Howard. Pam passed away on August 17, 2013 at the age of 62. The family settled in Fresno. Pam graduated from McLane High School in 1969. Pam was a Bank Officer for Bank of the West for 20 plus years. She retired from Harris Construction Company Inc after 16 years as a Project Administrator.
Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to vacation at the coast in Cayucos and at the family cabin in Shaver Lake.
Pam was married for thirty-nine years to the love of her life Emilio “Buddy” Palomo. They have two wonderful sons, Buster and Brandon. Pam became a grandmother in 2005 and her abundance of love for her family became even more apparent. She has been blessed with a total of two granddaughters and a grandson, ages ranging from 8 years old to 3 months old. Since Pam retired having her grandchildren around was the best part of her day.
Pam volunteered at La Comida, an organization that benefits Valley Children’s Hospital. She enjoyed going to bunko parties, organizing motorcycle rallies and planning vacations to the central coast with family and friends. She converted to Catholicism in 2011, and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Clovis.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents Don and Leona Howard. She is survived by her husband Buddy Palomo, her son Buster Palomo his wife Megan, her son Brandon Palomo his wife Krystle and her grandchildren McKenzie Palomo, Gavino Palomo, and Gunner Palomo. Pam has two brothers; Wayne Howard his wife Anna and Ron Howard. She also has a sister Sandra Marsh her husband Tim and her sister in law Cristina Grissom and husband Charles. Pam also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2013, from 4:00 until 7:00 in the evening.
A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Friday August 23, 2013, at 11:00am with interment at Clovis Cemetery and Reception immediately following at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Pam will be remembered as a loving, warm, kind, happy, outgoing person. Family and friends will remember her for her will to fight, her will to love, her will to survive and of course her beautiful smile.
