Patricia Rossi was a sweet lady with a loving and caring spirit.  I was her caregiver for over two years, but more than that we were friends. 

We would talk and share with each other about our families, friends and about our love for God.  She loved her family very much.  She took care of her mother and her only brother before they died.  She also had some very special friends who took her to church every week. But they also passed on within the two years I knew her.  Then there was a 93 year old elderly lady friend she would visit who lived in a senior care facility in her neighborhood who died in 2012. She needed a friend and she would refer to me as her best friend. 

Patricia loved children and taught Catechism classes at St. Helen's for several years. She always made sure they had a treat at the end of class. She looked forward to teaching the children with excitement and joy.

She loved flowers and encouraged me to become a lover of flowers.  She loved music and shared with me that she sang with Les Brown during the Big Band era. She had several vintage cassette tapes of Big Bands and when she played them we would have fun listening and dancing to the music.

We would often go to lunch during our time together.  Her favorite place was Hometowne Buffet.  We met so many wonderful people in our times together.  She loved people and was always caring and concerned about people, always smiling and offering a pleasant greeting to those we would meet along the way.  

She loved her sweets and See's Candy was her favorite.  She once shared with me that her dear husband would always buy her candy and flowers for every special day and so we would go to See's Candy for Mother's Day, Easter and Christmas.  She would buy a one pound box or she would make up her own personalized box.  Her favorite candy was anything chocolate.  Even when we didn't get to See's, she would buy her chocolates at the local grocery and discount stores we would frequent.

Patricia had a love for animals.  She had a special dog, Susie a Pekingese, and a Calico cat who were her daily companions, besides the birds and stray cats she fed in the neighborhood.

Patricia loved God and was always thankful for her health, and for all the times she would call on God for help and he helped her.  She would say God is the reason she could do all the things she was able to do.

I loved Patricia Rossi, I will miss her loving and caring spirit.  She always cared about how I was feeling.

I am thankful to have known Patricia. I appreciate everything she taught me about life and living.

Patricia Rossi was such a delightful person.  She and her family were in vaudeville.  Her husband bought her a player piano and a whole cabinet of music scrolls so she could sing and dance to her music.  She taught Sunday School for her church for many years, and recently one of her students, now grown reconnected with her and welcomed her to his home on special occasions.  
Mrs. Rossi had one son who died when he was 10.  He was a beautiful blonde headed boy, no doubt the joy of her life.  She missed him and her sweet husband who took great care to plan and provide for her care after his death.  

Patricia loved flowers and her landscaping and patio reflected that love.  She had a prolific lemon tree and she delighted in sharing her bounty.
Her kitchen was decorated with beautiful yellow sunflowers, her favorite.
This sweet soul was so gracious and appreciative of everyone in her life.  We were so enriched by knowing this dear lady.
