Precious preferred to go by her middle name “Loretta”. She graduated from Sierra High School and married George Johnson on July 23, 1960, they enjoyed 61+ years of marriage. Loretta attended Fresno City College and started her work career as a special needs teaching assistant back in the early 1970’s and eventually became a Special Ed Teacher herself and dedicated 20+ years, mostly with the Central Unified School District. When Loretta retired from teaching back in the mid 1990’s she became a stay-at-home day care provider.
Loretta was an avid reader and enjoyed singing in her church choir at Northeast Assembly of God Church. Her other interests included cooking, baking, shopping, and taking care of and spoiling her grandchildren. Loretta touched many lives in her 79 years, and inspired so much friendship and adoration. Her devotion to her Christian beliefs and to her family were her greatest priority.
Loretta went to meet our Lord on Wednesday March 30, 2022 with her loving family and hospice nurses by her side. The family would very much like to thank ALL the dedicated doctors, nurses and caregivers of Bristol Hospice (formerly ProHospice).
There will be No Services, per Loretta’s request.
