I feel I'm awake today with this memory that was once misplaced and I never thought I'd live to see this overpouring sadness. Our eyes wide, receptive. A family without a faith learns that hands around them will help give direction,
and our mourning hearts will skip a beat at every single mention. You will not be forgotten, you will be celebrated.

To Becky,
You have my deepest sympathy on the death of your dad. I know how important he was in your life and your care and support during these last few years must have brought him great comfort. Your relationship was quite special and while this makes the loss so very painful, I do believe that your closeness and warm memories will bring you comfort. Know that I am thinking of you and your mom.

To my dear friend Becky, My heart goes out to you and your family knowing that the first several days are filled with numbness and a sense of what do I do now.  As caregivers it can be the hardest but trust that each passing day helps ease the pain and the sadness of being left behind only until we are joined together once again.  blessings, Love and Light to you and your entire family.

It was and honor and privilege to have known you and become a part of your family as your son in law. I do wish however I could have met you sooner and seen you in better health. But from what little time I did have I do know that your family was everything to you. I will never forget those times when you  drove me nuts asking “ Where's Mary and Becky? They should be back by now”, The promise I made you before you passed I mean it even more now, So don't you worry dad, I will watch over and take care of your girls (Mary and Becky) .  You fought a long hard battle and now its time for you to rest see your loved ones and meet mine.

I wish I had more time to get to know you but I am forever thankful for the time I did have.  You are a wonderful man and you have an incredible family that will love and miss you forever.  To my Becks and her family, I know this is a tough time, but hold tight to the love and memories you shared with him.  He will be watching over you, just as he did in life.

Oh Daddy I miss you already.  I know there is no more pain, no more suffering.  You are full of life and doing things now that you weren't able to do for such a long time.  I just want you to know that it was an absolute honor to be your daughter.  I will miss our Ice Cream dates, our cheesecake and holding your hand to help you walk.  The times we spent these last few months, I will cherish forever.  Now don't you worry about Mom. Me and the boys along with John will take good care of her. Thank you for making me the woman I am today. Your love and continued support will live in my heart and soul always. Although our hearts are breaking, it gives us comfort that you were greeted in heaven by the loving arms of your momma, daddy and Rick.  Rest peacefully daddy.  I love you forever!!
