One of my most favorite people in the world.  Always had my back, treated me like his daughter and raised one of my best friends.  I miss him today and think of him often.  My hugs and love to both Bob and Mike and their families.

It seems like yesterday, I watched u the day u came home  from Vietnam! Everyone was always Soooo glad U made it Back Home to Fresno especially during those leaves from the marines! The parties were a gathering w all your brothers and sisters and all us cuzins at either Richies house or Emily and Tony (my parents)dancing Motown, and drinking way too much Booze! Pero that was the “movida” back in the 60’s 70’s! We all seemed to have a blast cause we seemed to have those parties 🎉 every weekend!
Well Tio we( Contreras) moved away to Sacramento in 1974! Things changed for all of us! 
But I will never forget dancing w you uncle Eddie and Ernie Danny Richie ! Man those were the best times- no matter how rowdy they got!! 
We were all together!! That was most important! My developmental years were filled w / Great Memories “Huero”! 
My brother Matt imitates u perfectly!! We will never 4 got when they stole your jacket at Sunnyside Flea Market! Aye dios mio 😮 Hechando mas madres de la cosa!!

I am heartbroken to hear of Pops’ passing. I will always cherish him and the memories I have dating back to 1978. He was like a dad to me and was always there to make me smile or lend an ear. He had the best hugs. My condolences to the entire family. Bob Dog, love you brother and I am always here for you and your family. I’m sorry I’m unable to attend but I will be there in spirit.
