Robert painted homes and buildings in the Fresno area for over 30 years. He was lovingly known as "Uncle Bomb". Robert loved vacationing in the mountains and at the coast with his wife and family. If he wasn't at home he was probably out riding his Harley. Robert had a passion for helping others and served his church in the tech booth operating the A/V equipment.
Robert is survived by his wife of 22 years, Violet Josephine Putnam; his step-son Robert Kuhn of Columbus, Ohio; his brother Richard Putnam (Saprina) of Madera, California, his brother Randall Putnam of Oregon, his sister-in-law Teri Brumbaugh (Anthony) of Boone, Iowa and his brother-in-law Billy DeFord of Clovis, California.
Also surviving are his nephews and nieces, Tanner and Hudson Putnam, Andrew and Randy Putnam, Melissa, Anthony, Joseph, James and Patricia Brumbaugh, and Nickki Treylor.
A celebration of a life well lived for Robert will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Clovis Pentecostal Church of God, 395 Peach Avenue, Clovis, CA 93612.
