Ronald Euel Bevers, Sr. passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026 in Madera, California, at the age of 88. He was a respected businessman whose life was marked by dedication to his family, hard work, and service.
Ronald was born in Tulare, CA. He attended Oakdale School and then went on to graduate from Tulare Union High School in 1955. Following graduation, he served as a member of the Army National Guard.
On July 4, 1956, Ronald married his high school sweetheart Janette Wilbourn. Together, they shared 70 years of marriage.
Early in his career, Ronald was co-owner of Whitten Machine Shop. He then partnered with his father to establish Euel Bevers and Son Farming. In 1977, he purchased Bevers Disposal Service, which he proudly owned and operated until his retirement in 2000.
Outside of his work, Ronald enjoyed an active life and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his younger years, Ronald enjoyed building race cars with his close friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Euel and Eulalia Bevers and his sister Tricia Climie.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Janette Bevers; daughter, Terry Duncan and her husband Steve, of Madera; son, Ronald Bevers, Jr. and his wife Brenda, of Visalia. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jennifer Vukovich and her husband Michael of Madera, Michelle Duncan of Madera, and Matthew Bevers of Visalia; and his great-grandchildren; William and Reagan Vukovich.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Graveside services will be held at Tulare Public Cemetery, 900 East Kern Avenue, Tulare, California, 93274 on August 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Boice Funeral Home, Clovis, California.
