Sharon Dopher, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, at the age of 83. A cherished resident of Clovis, California for most of her life, Sharon leaves behind a legacy as bright and warm as the pink she so dearly loved.
Sharon was the devoted wife of John Dopher and the proud mother of two sons, Mark and Scott. She was also a loving grandmother to 3 grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. The great-nieces were also cherished. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured into each of them the same boundless kindness she offered to everyone she met.
Those who knew Sharon knew her smile; it was ever-present and completely genuine. She had a rare gift for making every person feel seen and welcome, and her warmth left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. She spent 30 years working as a manager, where she managed payroll and scheduling.
Sharon went to Bullard High School. Even after all these years she met with the "Bullard Ladies." Sharon's passions were a reflection of her beautiful spirit. She found deep joy in her garden, with a special love for flowers and orchids in particular. She had a collector's eye and a devoted love for blue Fenton glass. She delighted in watching birds and had a fondness for the California coast, especially the quiet peace of Morro Bay. And wherever you found Sharon, you were likely to find a touch of pink, her signature color in every sense. And to find Sharon you would have seen most states as well as the NASCAR events.
Sharon expressed her love in many ways, and nowhere did it shine brighter than in her kitchen. She was known for baking cookies for friends, family, and neighbors, always giving, always thinking of others. Her pies were legendary, the kind that people looked forward to and never forgot. Every crust, every filling was made with care and tasted exactly like it.
She will be profoundly missed and forever celebrated.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, 2PM to 6PM at Boice Funeral home.
"She always had a smile," - and that smile will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
