Sharon “Sherry” Ann Howe, 82, passed away on November 7, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho surrounded by her devoted children. Sherry arrived in this world on June 22, 1943, in Merced, CA and spent 76 years in the Central Valley before moving to Idaho 2019.
Sherry was a faithful believer and devoted her life to Christ and her family. The Howe home was always open, serving as a gathering place for family and friends where Sherry, along with her loving husband Clifford Howe, excelled at providing ample meals and love for all that entered. Sherry had a love for dogs and happily helped in raising several guide dog puppies with her daughter Teresa. She spent many years as a volunteer at Valley Children’s Hospital working in the nursery. Above all, she loved quilting / sewing which was evident by her enormous collection of fabrics she had accumulated. She would spend countless hours planning her projects and sifting through boxes of fabrics to find the correct pairing. In her later years she spent time enjoying her family, koi fish, and sewing blankets which she donated to local animal shelters. She enjoyed roses and established many beautiful rose gardens throughout her life, with purple and yellow being her favorite.
Sherry is survived by her sons, Todd (Cari) and Ty (Marjorie); daughters, Tamara (Duane) Maynard and Teresa (Sam); sister Marcy Jones; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and best friends Ron and Joan Cox.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Howe, brother Walter “Bud” Chenoweth and grandson Joseph Maynard.
