Sherri Caraccilo, age 67, of Madera, California entered into rest on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Sherri was born in Castro Valley, California to Jan Watts and Richard Watts. Sherri’s warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.
Sherri was known for her genuine warmth and ability to make everyone feel comfortable and valued. Her nickname for everyone was "Babe," reflecting her caring nature. She loved dolphins, her pup Buster, and was a passionate and crafty individual. Her hobbies included baking brownies, reading murder mysteries on her Kindle, staying connected with family and friends through Facebook, and enjoying holidays with her loved ones. A frequent visitor to casinos, she took joy in gambling and slot machines. Sherri also enjoyed cooking and frequently shared pictures of her creations through text messages and Facebook posts.
Sherri had a special way with children, making them feel loved and heard. Her nurturing spirit made her feel like a second mother to many. Her generous heart and compassionate nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sherri is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Anthony Caraccilo; her daughters Stephanie Caraccilo, Angela Caraccilo, and Lisa Caraccilo (Ian Rapacchietta); her grandchildren Madison Rapacchietta and
Brian Rapacchietta.
Sherri was preceded in death by her father Richard Watts and her mother Jan Watts; her sister Patty Watts; her pet dog Buster.
Sherri also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends to honor her memory.
A Celebration of Life for Sherri will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
