Shirlie is survived by her husband, Joseph Hayes, Jr.; daughter Tracy Ballard (Mark); sister Diane Bradley, sister Vickie Hopper (Raymond), sister Janite McGary (Nick) and brother David Horton; grandchild Lea Boele (Lyle), grandchild Andrea Lopez (Eric), grandchild Joseph Hayes, IV and grandchild Garrett Hayes.

Shirlie was preceded in death by son Joseph Hayes, III.

Shirlie also leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
