Stella Swartz
Stella was born on February 22, 1930, in Manila, Phillipines to Robert and Esperanza Shields. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed World Wrestling Entertainment, animals, and going to the casino. Stella passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Swartz.
She is survived by her loving children, Alicia Parker and her husband Jim, Maryann Womack, Rick Swartz and his wife Victoria, James Swartz, John Swartz and his wife Martina, Daniel Swartz, Robert Swartz and his wife Heather, Elaine Hurd, and Michael Swartz. Stella also leaves behind a brother-in-law, Derwood Swartz, 16 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A time of reflection for family and friends will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 12 noon to 5:00 P.M.
A Memorial service will be held at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at 4:00 P.M.
