A lot of people has lost a true gem in  Tim Dooley.  Tim,along with his brothers and a few others made the The Dooley Brothers band as I remembered them in my High School and Young Adult Years............Awesome!!! I was fortunate to see them play over the years at several venues throughout Kern County. Even though I knew his brother Mark Dooley more personally, the several times I did meet and hung out with Tim Dooley, he was nothing but a down to earth guy to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all, but want to give my condolences and prayers out to his children, family and his true friends!!! Would love to hear a recording just one more time of how awesome they all were back then!!! RIP my friend!!!!!

My heart is breaking for you Mark. Some of the best times in my life were spent living with Billy watching you all play music and enjoying life!  I know Tim will live on through you and your music.

Our hearts are with the Dooley family for the loss of Tim. He blessed me with his friendship 33 years ago and I have never met a more kinder soul than Tim. God bless and I'll miss you old buddy.

It has been a lot of years since I danced with Tim at the Executive Lounge and listened to him and his brothers sing. Even after all these years, I can still see those twinkling eyes and that magnetic smile. He had a way of making you feel like you were the most important girl in the world. Our world shines a lot less brightly today, while Heaven is a glow with the light from his face and the music of his voice. I wish I could have heard him perform just one more time! Heart felt condolences to his family, blood and otherwise.

Tim was a good man and a good co worker he will be greatly missed.

Tim you will be missed so much by everyone. So glad PJ and I had our first date at your house and you singing at our wedding four months later. What a blessing. I think you are singing with the angels now.

I never got to meet Tim. But with everything I've read. I feel like know him a little bit. My heart goes out to the Dooley family. Prayers sent your way.

Its been a few years since we last saw Tim, he was singing at a friends wedding, he was so talented. But we have many memories of him with the Dooley Brothers Band when Rick was the drummer. I'd only met Tim on the occasion when he and Julie became Man and Wife. But, I'd actually 'met' him, back in the 80s, when Julie would often tell me of her first high school sweetheart, who remained always in her heart. So now...always and forever, once again. That will never change.  God bless you Julie, and my deepest sympathy to all his children, family and loved ones. The pain must feel like a chasm.  Too young, too soon.  Rest in Eternal Peace, Tim.

It is with heartfelt sorry that we post this. Tim touched so many many lives in the Bakersfield Music Community and beyond. A true inspiration ,an Icon , and wonderful friend of many. Although we only met Tim late last year, we quickly learned he had a quick smile and he became a great friend. He was such a sweetheart. Sing with the angels, Tim. May the Lord bring peace and comfort to your family.

Tim, my friend, singing partner, and brother at heart... you are one of the most beautiful souls I have ever known. I am a better person from the love, friendship, and musical talents that you have shared with me.  I have learned some great lessons in life from knowing you.  You helped me in the passing of my beautiful nephew Ryan, and now you are up there with him..  Please give him a hug and a kiss for me.  Thank you for all you have brought to my life, and the lives of every one who was blessed enough to know you.  You made everyone you met feel like they were the most special person to you.. Bryan and I were just dating when we first meet all The Dooleys" in the 80's. I think fondly of those days, Tim was just a great guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you....

He always called me "Sweet William" and every time the phone rings I'll wish I could hear it one more time.  We were friends, coworkers, next door neighbors, attended the same church, chased girls and played guitars, laughed and cried together and I will never forget him. He taught me the true meaning of the word, Pals

The first time I ever danced with my wife, Tim was singing. The first time I kissed her as my wife, Tim was singing. He has been a friend for more than 20 years and has been a part of so many special times in our lives.  There is an emptInes  that cannot be filled.  Prayers for the family and friends left hurting from your absence.  Pals!

My friendship with the dooleys starts in the early 80's and we quickly became pals. We lost Gary Chinn in 91 and other Pals in between but we always pulled together to get through it. I am belessed to be so close to tim and spent the last day with him before he left this world. He was so happy that we had the day to ride together and that big smile on his face while we were side by side at a very fast pace. At the the end of the nite he huged my neck and said love you brother and i said it back like we always do when we part. I will always miss him deeply, we made so many plans to ride the coast hunt, fish like we did back in our yunger days. I will still do all the things we talked about but it will be with a heavy hart but also a smile on my face because i know he will be watching. I will see him again because Jesus said i would. But until the my hart will always hurt for the loss of my PAL.

The void that we feel in our everyday life with Tim's passing has been somewhat offset by the memories and love that everyone shared with Tim and one other. Rest well friend, I will see you on the other side.

Silver wings, shining in the sunlight. Roaring engines headed somewhere in flight. There taking you away, leaving us lonely. Silver wings slowly fading out of sight. - Tim, you will always be in out hearts and our songs.
