Violet Frances Taylor, was born on June 8, 1939, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she entered into rest on October 20, 2025, at the age of 86. Violet was a long-time resident of Madera, California, and will be remembered for her humorous and lighthearted spirit.
Violet enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Technician Supervisor in the Electronics Industry, where she dedicated 20 years of her life. Her work was not only a testament to her skills but also to her commitment and passion for the field.
In her personal life, Violet was blessed with a loving family. She was married to William H. Taylor for 66 wonderful years. Together, they built a family that includes their son, Bruce Taylor, residing in Hutchinson, Kansas, and two daughters, Tammy Ohlberg (Randy) of Clovis, California, and Marie Hammond (Wesley) of Hilo, Hawaii.
"Grandma" Violet's legacy extends to her grandchildren: Michael Taylor, Jennifer Teo, Nicole Brown, Jacqueline Morfin, Nicholas Taylor, William Taylor, Clancey Hammond, and Taylor Hammond. Her great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Tutu" include: Jayden Taylor, Olivia Teo, Alan Teo, Kai Arroyo, Keilani Brown, Finn Gillum, Ari Gillum, Noah Morfin, Wyatt Morfin, Zoe Taylor, and Elsie Hammond. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Brady of Madera, California, and leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
A Life Celebration will be held at Boice Funeral Home, located at 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California, on November 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Violet will be laid to rest at Keawe'ehu-Campbell Family Cemetery, 64-734 Kaskanihia Road, Kamuela, Hawaii.
Violet's laughter and light-heartedness will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to bring smiles and joy to her family and friends.
