

Allyne Psencik was born August 23, 1926 in Moulton, Texas Allyne L. Psencik passed away on June 5, 2013, after suffering a catastrophic cerebral hemorrhage on May 31, 2013. She is survived by sons, Bob Haas and wife, Gloria, Ronnie Psencik and wife, Donna, Bart Psencik and wife, Brandy; grandchildren, Rob Haas and wife, Holly, Heather Guerin and husband, Kevin, Chris Psencik and wife, Eileen, Cody Psencik and wife, Stephanie, Amy Auld and husband, Taylor, Sarah Murphy and husband, Kieth, and Matt Psencik; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Paige and Drew Haas, Parker and Greyson Guerin, Sophia Psencik and Nathan and Abby Auld; sister, Georgia Darilek; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and many friends. Allyne was a very generous person and cherished her years of volunteer work at Brazosport Community Hospital, as well as the Cancer Center and diabetes centers. She had accumulated over 8166 hours over 30 years of service. She had previously retired from her work at the Brazoswood HS cafeteria as a cashier after 25 years of service. Her family, friends and neighbors knew she was always available to help with any of their needs. She was preceded in death by husbands, Alfred L. Psencik, Robert Haas killed in WWII; son, Joe Dale Psencik; parents, Joe J. and Frances Anderle; and brother, Julius Anderle. Services are scheduled as follows: Visitation will be held at Restwood Cemetery Chapel on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. A burial mass will be said at St. Michaels Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Memorials may be directed to St. Michaels Catholic Church or Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department. Interment will take place at the Restwood Mausoleum. Pall bearers will be grandsons, Rob Haas, Chris Psencik, Cody Psencik, and Matt Psencik; nephew, Perry Plentl Jr.; and special friend, John Courtney. Honorary Pall bearers are Tony and Alan Mikulencak.
