Andres Martinez Cancino, 75, of Jones Creek, TX., entered heaven’s gates on April 16, 2019 surrounded by his family. Andres was born to Manuel and Macrina Cancino on October 2, 1943 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, MX. Andres married Marina in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas.
Andres worked for 38 years as a Metal Man in the Construction Industry. His passion was to go fishing, enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends, loved being outdoors, and most of all visiting with family and friends. He always enjoyed being the center of attention.
Andres is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Macrina Cancino, his siblings Jose Rosario, Gonzalo, Jose, and Amelia.
Andres is survived by his wife Marina, by his children Juan Andres (Irma) Cancino, Carlos Cancino, Jaime (Myrna) Cancino, Omar (Martha) Cancino, and Lucy Sigala Cancino (Jose Luis), his 12 grandchildren Victoria, Juan Jr., Edward, Clarissa, Angelo, Brandon, Vanessa, Yasmin, Yarissa, Jaime Jr., Lucas, and Abigail, and his 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Antonio, Mario, Manuel, and Antonio “Tony”.
A rosary service and visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, TX starting at 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The funeral mass service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Clute, TX starting at 10:00 a.m.. The graveside service and burial will take place at Restwood Memorial Park immediately following the funeral mass service.
Serving as pallbearers are sons, Juan Andres Cancino, Carlos Cancino, Jaime Cancino, and Omar Cancino, son in law Jose Luis Sigala, grandkids Juan Jr., Angelo, Brandon, Jaime Jr., and Lucas.
