Bertha Lara Hernandez

Bertha was born June 6, 1942 in Bay City Texas. She was a member of St. Henry's and St Mary's Catholic Churches

Bertha was preceded in Death by Her husband the love of her life Juan Hernandez Sr, Her Mother and Father Elena and Alfredo Lara, her brothers Natavida Lara, Jesse Lara Sr, and her sister Linda Castillo(Simon).

She is survived by her children Sonya H Cox, Juan Hernandez Jr and Martin Hernandez. Her Daughter in Laws Nicki Hernandez and Patricia Estrada.

Her grandchildren Gabriella Marie Hernandez, Emilia Janel Hernandez and Skyler Brooke Hernandez. Her great grandchild Elaina Grey Gonzales. Her siblings Alfred Lara Sr(Carol), Carolyn Moreno(Robert), Carmen Rodriguez(Ismael), Diana Lara Rangel and her sister in Law Eva Lara. Bertha had many cousins, brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends that she loved very much.

Visitations will be held at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute Texas on Friday August 20, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held Saturday August 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Freeport. Burial will follow in Clute Texas.
