Charles Charlie Wade Barclay

July 6, 1937 – Sept. 3, 2013

Known by most as “Charlie” passed away in his Brazoria home Tuesday morning surrounded by loved ones. Charles is survived by the love of his life wife Claudette, children Donna and son-in-law Buster White. Mike, Chauna, James and daughter-in-law Karen and Bryan and daughter-in-law Karen; Grand-children Stephen, Kristy, Nathan, Meagan, Justin, Bryan Jr, Sarah, Joshua, Brandon and Charlie; Great- grand children Elliott, Bentley, Kinsley and Rory. His mother Louise “Grandma” Barclay, Brothers Bryon, Rick and wife Beth, Mike and wife Kay, and Jerry and wife Patty. Sisters Linda and husband Gene, Mary, Sandra and husband Jessie, Kathy and husband Tommy and Charlotte and husband Tim. Proceeded in death by his father James Harold and brothers Ronnie and Steve. Charlie was born to Harold and Louise in Call, Texas , the first of twelve children. He enjoyed spending time with family, being in the woods or on the water. Married 53 years he was a wonderful husband and father. Well known in the construction industry he was considered a leader and mentor. Always willing to lend a hand Charlie was called a good friend by many. He will be greatly missed.
