Tony and I were fish buddies in Dog Company, D-2. He was our “outstanding fish” for the year, and deserved it. When we were fish (1964), on Sunday mornings, we would drive around the College Station surrounding area looking for small country churches to visit in Sunday School. I really missed him when he left the Corps to work for Dow. I attended his wedding in Humble, and stayed at his house. He was a special friend. God Bless his family, Our prayers are with them./Charles McCall ‘68.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. He was my boss for many years at Dow that included some very stressful times. He mentored me through it all and was a Godly man who loved his family very much. It was evident in all he did and said. He also had a great sense of humor and it was a pleasure working with him all the years I did. St. Francis is attributed with saying “Preach the Gospel at all times and if necessary, use words.” That was Tony to me. May Jesus welcome Tony to his heavenly home. My prayers are with Laurie and his entire family.

Tony was a Godly man, extending his love and generosity here on earth. The reunion that took place that happened as he drew his last breath here in earth and as the Angels ushered him into Heaven must have been indescribable. If only we could have been there to hear the Lord say to Tony....”Well done thou good and faithful servant!” Praying for your family as your next steps are not easy, but God will give you everything you need to get through it.
