Dale Reese Fiegener passed away at home on October 16, 2025. He was born September 16, 1948 in Enid, Oklahoma to Billie Epperley Fiegener and Elton Fiegener. He graduated from high school in Duncan, Oklahoma in 1966. He was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam where he was seriously injured. He received a Purple Heart and Combat Veterans ribbon for his service to the nation.
Dale graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1974 with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined The Dow Chemical Company in the Magnesium area where he worked the majority of his 30 year career before he retired in 2002. In his retirement, Dale was finally able to finish restoration of his 1956 Chevy Bellaire that his parents bought new. This was a labor of love because he drove the Chevy to Oklahoma City to take his parents to the church for their 50 year Anniversary party.
Dale was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and The Military Order of the Purple Heart. He was also a friend of Bill W. for 28 years. He was a strong Houston Texans fan and Oklahoma State University Cowboys fan.
Dale is survived by his best friend and love of his life, wife, Linda; his precious daughter Farrah Fiegener Vander Wal (Chris), Phoenix, AZ; Step-sons Roger Harper, Richwood, TX; Jason Harper ( Cheryl), San Marcus, TX; Grandsons Ian Harper (Jenny), Friendswood, TX; Christian Harper, San Marcos, TX; sisters Echo Stubblefield (Dick), Oklahoma City, OK; Glennis Armstrong (Dale), Muskogee, OK. He had many nieces and nephews that all loved him dearly and thought it was “cool” that Uncle Dale always wore his Chuck Taylor basketball shoes even for formal events including their weddings.
Dale was predeceased by his parents, son Gabriel Fiegener, his daughter-n-law Wren Pratt Harper, his brother William Fiegener and sister-n-law, Rachel Fiegener.
Dale and Linda had a 38 year love affair rooted in mutual respect and friendship. Their deep and abiding love for each other was evident to their children, family and friends. Dale was not a very social person like Linda was, but he quietly and anonymously supported various programs and individuals without expectation. He felt strongly that doing so was between he and his God.
There will be a Celebration of Dales life on November 29th, 2025 in the Fellowship Hall at Chapelwood United Methodist Church at 11:a.m. If you own a pair of Chucks, please wear them in honor of our sweet Dale.
