

Dana Marie Willis, 84, of Lake Jackson TX, passed peacefully after a short battle with cancer on March 29, 2016 in Houston TX. Dana was born on January 31, 1932 to Houghton & Claudie Glover in Taylor TX. Dana married Gordon G. Willis in Lake Jackson on October 26, 1955.
Dana was a long time member of Lake Jackson First United Methodist Church, and proudly served for more than 33 years as a member of the Auxiliary (The Pink Ladies) at Brazosport Regional Hospital. Dana was a vital member of the Lake Jackson Optimist Club, serving the community for many years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting, working with her plants, and taking pictures – but more than any hobby, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Dana is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gordon Willis.
Dana is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws Grace and Patrick Harrington, Laurie and William Atkins, Rosemary and Lee Holt; granddaughters Rita Holt, Samantha Holt, and Ashley Keller; and great-granddaughters Maci and Rylan.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Leshikar, Charles Leshikar, Ronald Krueger, Richard Huhn, Bill Leshikar, and Randy Hawley.
Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home located at 1038 W. Plantation Clute, TX 77566 on Friday April 1, 2016 from at 6pm-8pm.
Funeral Services will be held at Restwood Funeral Home Saturday April 2, 2016 at 11am, with Rev. Dr. Lynne Settlemyre conducting.
Dana Marie Willis will be laid to rest immediately following funeral services.
