

Daniel Garcia (Danny) 32 of Freeport, Texas passed away on his way home from work on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, in Manvel, Texas. Danny was born on October 16th, 1990, in Lake Jackson, Texas to Julian and Natividad Garcia.
Danny was an outdoor kind of guy, who absolutely loved to BBQ (carne asada) making his specialty salsa de molcajete, listening to all kinds of music and dancing. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing, and going to the gun range with his family and friends. He was hard working and self-driven and a great asset to Zachry Industry, where he was working as a rod buster in Orange, Texas. Danny was family oriented, generous, selfless, friendly, loyal, communicative, and according to his brother, “Danny was a wild boy.” Any chance he got he was making his way to Club Relajo to have a good time with his friends.
Danny is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Aaron and Hilda Santiago. His paternal grandfather, Juan Garcia.
Danny is survived by his parents Julian and Naty Garcia. Three brothers, Julian Gonzales, Ruben, and Moises Garcia. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Danny’s life will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Freeport, Texas on Tuesday October 17th, 2023, at 10:00 am with a rosary beginning at 9:00 am, officiated by father Sebastine Soja Okoye. Burial will immediately follow at Restwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Clute, Texas. Repass will follow burial, at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish Hall. Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Monday October 16th, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm.
Pallbearers will be his father, Julian. Brothers Julian Jr., Ruben, and Moises. Cousin Isaiah and very close cousins Taylor and Cristian.
