David Wayne Jouett

David married Redjellie Ballon on February 19, 1995 in Kuwait.

David worked as a drilling consultant at the Kuwait Oil Company, which was located in Kuwait. He retired after 41 years in the industry. David’s biggest hobby was fishing. But he also enjoyed traveling the world during his career as a consultant in the oil industry.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie John Jouett and Mary Ann George.

David is survived by his wife, Redjellie; his brother, Mike; nieces, Jen, KC, Rachel, Kathi, Jamie, Mary Edralin, Myrine, Cesarie, Learnie, and Maricel; and numerous grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home, located at 1038 West Plantation Drive, Clute, TX 77531, on February 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 12:00 p.m. A committal service will take place at Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will include Kim Kirk, Mike Baringer, Gene Burke, Jim Martin, Eric Sielshy, and David Jones.
