Elva P. Villarreal

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elva Peña Villarreal, who entered the gates of heaven at the age of 98. A pillar of strength, grace, and wisdom, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations.

Elva P. Villarreal was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias, Texas and also a member of the Catholic Daughters for a multitude of years. She dedicated her life to raising her family, and she enjoyed sewing and baking.

She was a devoted wife to Ernesto Villarreal Jr.; a loving mother to Ernesto Villarreal III (Susie), Jose G. Villarreal (PeeWee) - deceased, and Viola V. Rodriguez; a cherished grandmother to Ernesto Villarreal IV, Olga Iris Villarreal, Gabe Rodriguez Jr. – deceased, and Danyel Robles. Elva had four great-grandchildren – Aaron, Joseph, Stella, and Emma Grace.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Jose Peña and Manuela S. Peña; brothers: Antonio Peña (Licha), Siviades Peña (Dolores); sisters: Anaminta Hancock (Julio) and Dila Garcia (Beto).

She is survived by her brother, Nelson Peña of Corpus Christi, Texas and her sister, Hilda Sendejo of Houston, Texas.

May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones, and forever remembered in our hearts. At this time, there is no burial information. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Burial Park in Falfurrias, Texas.
