Frank Mason Louis Jr.

Frank Mason Louis, Jr., of Clute, Texas, was born Friday, February 19, 1943 in Galveston, Texas to Frank Mason Louis, Sr. and Christine Anderson Louis. He died Friday, January 28, 2011 in Stafford, Texas, with his family at his side, at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 9 days. Mason, as he was known to family and friends, was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He took great pride and joy in his family! He was Paw-Paw to the grandchildren! He married Jonnie Fraley on April 18, 1970 in Galveston, Texas and they enjoyed 40 years of marriage. He was an avid reader and was very proud of his work for the United States Government. He loved to tell humorous stories and even had his war stories numbered. He had a nickname for everybody and was willing to feed everyone! He had a passion for the History and Discovery Channels and took pleasure in his guns. He was especially close to Weezie and Max, his dogs. Mason is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jonnie Louis of Clute; daughters, Amye Louis-O’Grady of Clute, Calley Wall and her husband Bobby of Freeport; sister, Beverly Smith of Houston; grandchildren, Brianna Bacon, Kaylon Grant, Maycee O’Grady, Hunter Wall, Hannah Wall, Mason Wall and great grandson, J. J. Velez.
