IN MEMORY OF OUR BELOVED WIFE, MOTHER, AND GRANDMOTHER: GAIL BULLOCK POHLMEYER, passed on to her eternal reward with her Lord and Savior, on Thursday, December 5, 2013, in Lake Jackson, Texas, with her loving family surrounding her. She lived a happy and rewarding Christian life. She is survived by her loving, faithful and devoted husband, JAMES EDWARD (JIM) POHLMEYER, Lake Jackson, Texas, who was her forever best friend; loving son, JAMES D. POHLMEYER, and wife, TRACIE LEA POHLMEYER, of Sweeny, Texas, her grandson,

WALTER WILLIAM POHLMEYER, Austin, Texas, and PAMELA NICOLE POHLMEYER McLEOD, husband, JAKE McLEOD, Bay City, Texas; beloved daughter, JAIME LYNNE DUNCAN and her husband, MARK ANTHONY DUNCAN, along with their children, BROOKLYN BAILEE BERRONES and AUSTIN JAMES DUNCAN, all of Corpus Christi, Texas, and loving and devoted son, WILLIAM JEFFREY POHLMEYER and his son, GRANT AUSTIN POHLMEYER, both of Lake Jackson, Texas. Gail is also survived by her beloved twin brother, DALE DAVIS BULLOCK and his wife, LOUREZ, and their sons, SCOTT and JOHN ROYALL, all of Houston, Texas. Gail is also survived by her sister, other mom, and closest friend, PAT McBURNETT, of Sandia, Texas, along with her children, MARK and CHERIE McBURNETT, of Lake Jackson, Texas; their daughter, LAURA, husband, CLINT JOHNSTON, and MATTHEW and MARYAM McBURNETT, of Pipe Creek, Texas, ELIZABETH CURRIE and CARL CURRIE, and their sons, ANDREW AND DAVID, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and MELISSA McBURNETT, and her partner SUSAN WITTNER, of Corpus Christi, Texas; beloved sister, BARBARA JOHNSON, her sons, BRENT JOHNSON, wife, STACEY, and MATTHEW JOHNSON and wife, ALLISON. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, CARSON JAMES POHLMEYER and LILA MACK McLEOD. Gail was predeceased by her parents, HERMAN W. and IMA GENE BULLOCK, brothers, BILLY BULLOCK and JOHN WAYNE BULLOCK. She had wonderful friends, Earline and Don Dawes, Lena Vickers, J. Frank and Velma Edge, Ben and Maxine Townes, and Ruth McAndrews. Pallbearers are MARK McBURNETT, MATT McBURNETT, WALTER POHLMEYER, GRANT POHLMEYER, MARK DUNCAN and JAKE McLEOD. Honorary Pallbearers include Don Dawes, Wm. A. Orr, Jr., Fred P. Holub, Ben Townes, Clarence Dettling and John F. Edge.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 7, at Restwood Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m.

Although Gail loved her flowers, if preferred, donations may be made in her memory to the Beeville Baptist Children’s Home at Beeville, TX, or to Second Baptist Church in Lake Jackson, Texas
