Gary Alan Klingaman a.k.a Grande, Sr. 87, longtime resident of Lake Jackson, Texas. Went to be with his LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST on January 19, 2021, in Lake Jackson. He was born on February 14, 1933 in Winona, Minn. To Guy D, and Vera June (Immell) Klingaman. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S.
Marine Corps and was Honored to serve his country.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Roger G. Klingaman in Boerne, Texas, and step-son Wade Neumann of McAllen, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Libby Ann (Linn) Klingaman; children, Sydna Arnold (Ferris); Kary L. O’Hair (John) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Kimberly Love Klingaman of New Braunfels, Texas, Gary A. Klingaman, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Steve Wise of McAllen, Texas, and Ann E. Coe (Kenny) of Lake Jackson, Texas; 18 Grand Children, and 13 Great Grandchildren; Brother, William J.G. Klingaman of San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Gary married his Love and Soulmate Libby Ann (Linn) Klingaman on September 18, 1970 in Pharr, Texas.
Gary was an avid golfer for 50+ years, 28 of which were at Riverside C.C. He and Libby loved to dance, dine, enjoy friends and singing at Riverside. He spent time hunting deer, dove and quail in many Texas locations. He enjoyed his friends at the Tuesday night Board meetings.
Gary was an electrical Engineer from Texas A. & I. in Kingsville, Texas, and sold electrical equipment to industrial plants along the Texas Coast.
