

George was born to Eunice Marie Thomas Hubbard, James Richard Crofton, and stepfather Thaddeus L. Hubbard on July 12, 1935 in Shreveport, LA.
George married Faye Hiroms Crofton in Brazoria, TX on March 4, 1955.
George proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1972 and retired as a Master Sergeant.
George worked for 23 years as a Safety Supervisor for Dow Chemical.
George loved camping and traveling with his family. He took up photography as a hobby to capture portraits of his beautiful family. He then created a business, Accent on Creative Photography, taking professional photos of weddings, school pictures, and other events.
During George’s military service with the OSI, he was tasked with protecting President Richard Nixon and Japanese Emperor Hirohito during their first meeting at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska in 1971. George was also a star Athlete at Lake Jackson Intermediate where he was the captain of his football, basketball, and track teams.
George is preceded in death by parents Thaddeus & Eunice Hubbard as well as James Crofton; Siblings Thomasine, Thomas, Emma, James Richard, and Eunice; Son in law Richard Patton.
George is survived by his wife Faye Crofton; siblings Linda; children Katherine & Richard Patton and Pat & Robin Crofton; grandchildren Chad, Jennifer, Josh, Patrick, Brittany L, Adam, Brittany C, Justin, and Konner; Great grandchildren Abby, Emily, Samantha, Taylor, Ella, Nika, Kyle, and Linkin
Serving as pallbearers Jennifer, Josh, Adam, Brittnay, Justin, and Konner.
Honorary pallbearers are Chad and Patrick.
