Georgia G. Lux, age 79, passed away Friday April 23, 2010 in Houston. Mrs. Lux was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a longtime resident of Lake Jackson. She loved her grandchildren dearly and cared for them throughout their childhood. For many years she was an Avon Sales Representative. One of her favorite hobbies she and her husband enjoyed during their lifetime was going to countless Polka dances. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lux. Survived by her sons: Gary Lux and wife Joelene, Darrell and wife Mary; daughter, Kathy Hinkle and husband Don; grandchildren: Cody Simmons, Nick Simmons, Wesley Lux, Christina Lux, Rhiannon Losak, Alexander Hines; sisters: Viola Neal and husband Floyd, Pauline Lindermann; brother-in-law, Melvin Petsrah; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services to be conducted 10 a.m. Monday April 26, 2010 at Restwood Funeral Home with Msgr. Leo Wleczyk officiating. Visitation with the family 4-6 p.m. Sunday April 25, 2010 at the funeral home.
