Hector was born on January 22, 1955 to Guillermo and Ninfa Ruiz in Kingsville TX. Hector married Elizabeth Herrera in Kingsville TX on September 29, 1978.

Hector Ruiz served his country faithfully and honorably in the Air Force for 4 years. He worked On B-52 bombers and other aircraft as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and Airplane Mechanic. He Worked at Dow Chemical for 25 years as an Operator. He loved fishing and hunting. He loved and had a

Passion for history and also had a coin collection.

Hernandez, Gabriella Gonzalez, Maryah Ortiz, Isabella Hernandez Izack Ruiz and many nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Billy Ruiz, Omar Ruiz, Orlando Ruiz, Ramey Ruiz, Jorge Gonzalez, Jr, Christian Gonzalez, Valente Hernandez, and Javier Ruiz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Omar Ruiz, Jr, Bryan Ruiz, Jacob Montalvo, and Izack Ruiz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 9am to 11 am at Restwood Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Restwood Funeral Home with interment to follow.
