Helen and L.Z. truly enjoyed one another and in doing so left many examples to follow.
Special friends from First Methodist Church of Lake Jackson were a big part of Helen’s life. She was a member at First Methodist for many years. Helen also had fun times being a part of the Lake Jackson Garden Club, as gardening was always one of her passions. She also was a volunteer with Home Delivered Meals. Finally, Helen was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Most of all, Helen lived her life graciously. She was a wonderful listener and kind to so many. Helen was admired for her sweet spirit which led to her being a special mom, grandmom (Papasug and Mamasug), as well as a special great-grandmother.
