Joan Ellen Boone

Joan enjoyed gardening, being a coach’s wife and raising her 2 children. She was employed at Velasco Elementary School as secretary to the principal. Joan was a great mother and a loving and dedicated wife. She is a proud grandmother of 5 grandsons, 2 bonus granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren. She enjoyed her grandchildren more than anything and they meant the world to her.

Preceded in death by her husband Thomas Douglas Boone and her parents Clifford Fieselman and Carol Fieselman.

Survived by her son Thomas Douglas Boone II, wife Yanelly Rodriguez, grandsons, Nicholas Boone, his wife Cara Boone, Johathan Boone, and granddaughter Victoria Labrador. Her daughter Staci Ellen Dahl, husband Jeffrey Charles Dahl, grandsons Haden Jeffrey Dahl, Liam Thomas Dahl and Nolan Charles Dahl, granddaughter Megan Marie Carter, husband Jesse Neil Carter and 2 great grandchildren Meadow Neil Carter and Henry Michael Carter. Her sister Patti cummings and husband Bob Cummings. Her brother-in-law Michael Fredric Boone, and sisters-in-law Judy Marie Bird and Cynthia Boone Finn.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Restwood Funeral home in Lake Jackson, Texas. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and service at 10:30 a.m.
