Juanita was married to the love of her life, Reuben Neiswander, for 67 years. After spending the first two years of their marriage in Germany while Reuben was serving in the military, the couple eventually settled in Lake Jackson, where they lovingly raised their three daughters, Connie, Robin, and Stacy.
Juanita was a talented hair stylist who owned several beauty salons throughout the years, most recently Don Juan’s Hair Design. She loved family vacations, snow skiing, cruises, and overseas travel. Most of all, she enjoyed participating in mission trips to build new churches both nationally and internationally. Juanita was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Lake Jackson, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, helped lead the singles department, sang in the choir, and assisted with the youth. She welcomed all with her constant grace, kindness, and sense of humor.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert Daughrity and Frank Daughrity; and grandson, Clint Bowen. She is survived by her husband, Reuben Neiswander; daughters, Connie Bowen (Jon), Robin Smith (Mark), and Stacy Neiswander; grandchildren, Cody Smith (Ashlyn) and Allie Burt (Nick); granddaughter-in-law, Lindsey Bowen; and great grandchildren, Calleigh and Tanner Bowen, Aiden Perkins, Maverick Smith, and Weston and Jaxson Burt.
