Kathleen Halstead Oldham

Kathleen (Foster) Oldham, of Lake Jackson, was born Friday, August 16, 1912 in Lauratown, Arkansas to Henry Clay and Bama Justice Halstead and died Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Lake Jackson, Texas at the age of 98 years, 1 month and 16 days. Kathleen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. He worked as a Nurses Aid for many years and was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, raking and burning leaves, cooking and loved to dance. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Morris Oldham; brother, John Clay Halstead; sister, Marie Parrish and 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Clay Tillman Foster of Stilwell, Oklahoma; daughter, Mildred Melvindale Parker of The Woodlands, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Restwood Funeral Home Chapel, Clute, Texas.
