I miss you.  And I just wanted to pick up the phone today to hear your voice. I love you Mom and I'm so thankful for butterflies.

Today I called Kathy to say hello. Her number was disconnected. That is how I found out about her passing.  Very sad to know. I will remember her always, her ice blue Jaquiar, her calm demeanor.  She was my best friend for many years when she was in California.  So sorry to hear this news, she loved her family and the last time I spoke to her she was visiting her father and spending time with her family.

To Kathy's family,

I have so many memories of Kathy.  Kathy, Wendell and kids moved next door to us in Orange, CA when our kids were in grade school.  Darryl was about three I think.  We became friends after our daughters became literally best friends.  Kathy, I miss you.  I used to think about her  a lot before she got sick.  I always asked Amy if she had talked to Deanna so I could find out how she was doing after she moved to Texas. When she got sick, I prayed for her every night and during the day..  Sometimes they were long prayers, sometimes just a word of blessing, but always in my prayers.  Why didn't I pick up the phone and reach out to her.  I just couldn't find the words, kept putting it off and now it's too late.  I hope she knows I cared.  
 Kathy was a good person.  Not a mean bone in her body....always ready to have fun and ever ready to laugh.  I remember great times we had at the river, all of us.  Besides all that, she was a great cook!  I remember one dinner she made for us became one I served when we had company.  
She was always there if you needed a helping  hand or a hug.  I will never forget her and I hope I will see her again some day.

I went to high in Brea CA. with Kathy, both of us grad'ing in 1969. Kathy was definitely 'one-of-a-kind' - a wonderful lady. 
As is said in Gaelic, "Slan Abhaile, Kathy" - best wishes to one who is traveling home.

I have so many great memories of Kathy. We met at Durfee Elementary school and stayed friends even after her move to Brea. Was so happy to have visited with her this past year in So Cal. Say hi to Kristie for me Kathy. Until we meet again. Much peace and Love.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met your family in 4 H and Deanna and my son were in the same grade in school. Kathy fought very hard to beat cancer. I admire her bravery and strength. Even though our prayers were not answered as we wished, we know she is healed and with our Lord and Savior. I pray for peace, strength and comfort for all of you.

I 1st met Kathy when I started 7th grade in Pico Rivera at North Park jr. High Scool. Along with her friends, Kristie Kelly, Jill Turner, Martha Mendoza & Stella Mendoza.
They year was 1965! I still remember her like it was last year!

I'm sorry for your great loss. I loved Kathy as well. She was a great person, loved talking to her :) and she always made me laugh and I will miss her!
