Keyla Eunice Jimenez

Keyla E. Jimenez, 43, of Santa Engracia, General Terán, Nuevo León, Mexico went peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Baylor St. Luke’s in Houston, Texas. She was born August 13, 1982 to Heliodoro and Guadalupe Guajardo.

She married Jose A. Jimenez Sr. on July 18, 2024 in Freeport, Texas. She was a graduate of Brazoswood high school. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Enjoyed being outdoors spent with family.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Roman and Faustina Guajardo; Julio and Petra Acuña; Step-son Jacob A. Muñoz.

She is survived by her parents Heliodoro and Guadalupe Guajardo. Her husband Jose A. Jimenez Sr.. Her children Oscar (Mel) Saucedo, Yaneli Saucedo, Ariana Jimenez, stepchildren Micheal (Jaylee) Muñoz, Elyssia(Daniel) Lema, Maria(Fred) Williams, Jose(Destiney) Jimenez JR., Gabriel Jimenez, Louisa Jimenez, Jeannette Jimenez. Sister Marlene(Jose) Ramirez, Brother Heliodoro Guajardo Jr.; 3 grandkids, 17 step-grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews, 13 step-nieces/nephews. Brother-in-laws Jose A. Jimenez, Manuel Jimenez, Sister-in-laws Olivia Jimenez, Bertha Jimenez, Isabel(Adrian) Kersh, Maya(Miguel) Esparza, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Keyla’s life will take place at Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park 1038 West Plantation Drive in Clute, Texas 77531. The viewing will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5-8pm. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11am and burial at 12pm.

Pallbearers will be Jose D. Ramirez, Ricardo Montalvo, Oscar Saucedo Jr., Jose A. Jimenez JR., Daniel Lema Jr., and Luis Muñoz.
