Larry Gene Janik

Larry was born on April 20th 1948 in Clute, TX to August & Lillie Janik. Larry moved to California in 1990 and has traveled several times back to Texas to be with his family & friends. Anneka and Melissa were looking forward to be able to spend quality time with their father; he had been planning on moving back to Texas this summer so that he could be closer to his family & friends when he suddenly passed away.

Larry is survived by his two daughters, Anneka (husband Micheal) Hudgeons and Mellissa (husband Fred) Barton. Larry is also survived by his two grandsons, Brendon and Bailey Barton. Larry was the youngest of 4 boys, his brothers surviving him are August “Augie” (wife Sandra) Janik; James (wife Katie) Janik; and Charlie Janik. Larry’s life was blessed by and he is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other friends and family.

Larry’s daughters wish to extend an invitation for all friends and family to speak at a Memorial Service honoring and celebrating the fun in his life.

Services will be held on Tuesday June 23rd 2015 at Restwood Funeral Home starting at 6pm. Celebrant of services will be Dearle Marrs. Funeral Services under the direction and care of Jonathan Ripkowski.
