

Born on October 22, 1944, in Gorman, Texas, to Lenard L. Coffee, Sr. and Alene Coffee. Lennie lived a full and meaningful life marked by dedication, kindness, and quiet strength. After earning his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston, Lennie pursued a career that reflected his commitment to building and improving the world around him with skill and care. Lennie had a deep love for travel and the open road. Whether exploring new places or enjoying the freedom of a motorcycle ride, he found joy in the journey. His adventurous spirit and kind heart touched everyone he met. He made his home in Clute, where he was a respected member of the community. Whether through his work, his friendships, or his love for his family, Lennie's legacy is one of integrity, generosity, and humility.
Lennie is preceded in death by his parents, Lenard and Alene Coffee; daughter-in-law, Laura Bundick Coffee; and Niece, Wendy Carol Coffee.
Lennie is survived by his adoring spouse of 52 years, Vickie Lain Coffee; his son, Mark Coffee (Brittany); daughter, Nicole Tyler (Charles); daughter, Kristin Freeman (Craig); brother, Wendell Coffee; and sister, Gay Huntsman (Roy Fuller). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Megan Bundick, Morgan Stevens (Tanner), Devin Coffee, Jordan Criqui (Linda), Reagan Tyler, Colby Freeman (Bre), Collin Freeman (Lily), Corbin Freeman, Camille Freeman, and Chance Freeman. He is survived by his great-grandchildren Peyton Bundick, Presley Burch, Greyson Stevens, Garrett Stevens, and Charlie Ortolon.
A memorial service to celebrate Lennie's life will be held on Thursday, August 7th, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M at Restwood Funeral Home.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
