

Linda Posada Perry, 95, of Lake Jackson, Texas continued her journey on November 21, 2010. She was born July 29, 1915 in Mexico. She became an American Citizen on October 13, 1944. She served in the United States Army during World War II as a 1st Lieutenant. She was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 2 Bronze Service Stars and the Philippian Liberation with a Bronze Service Star. Linda was the oldest member of the VFW Post 4331. She was also a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Perry; sister, Delfina Posada and a step grandson, Thomas Perry.
She is survived by 2 children, Vickie Perry Morris and husband William, Gerry Perry; 4 grandchildren, Eddie Dobson and wife Irma, Michelle Dobson and husband Byron Davis, David Dobson and wife Kimberly, Lindsey Perry; 12 great grandchildren, Anthony, Kazzondra, Dustin, Montana, Victoria, Sandra, Jack, John, Julie, Joseph, David and Emma. She is also survived by numerous step children and family friends, Johnny Alvarez and Morgan Crocker. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until, service time at, 3:00 pm, Friday, November 26, 2010 at Restwood Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Restwood Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
