Mary Ann Lopez

Mary Ann Lopez, 52, of Freeport, Texas passed away on December 2, 2018. Mary Ann was born to Mariano Mendoza and Maria DeJesus Cavazos Mendoza on April 26, 1966 in Freeport, Texas. Mary Ann worked for 10 years as an Assistant Manager for Palais Royal and was also an employee for several years at BISD. She attended Gateway Covenant Church where she served her Lord and Savior. She had a love for music and dance. Mary Ann was a heartwarming, loving person who was dedicated, determined, and a hard worker. She loved spending time with her friends and family, but most of all she enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Mary Ann is survived by children, Otalio (Ashley); Kindra; Cristabel; Josiah Lopez; Andrew; Matthew; Averi; Jazlynn; Royce; Edward; Elijah; Andrew Jr.; Maria (Donnell); Aaliyah; Sandy; Guadalupe; Shawn; siblings, Mario Patricia Mendoza; Michael Vvonne Mendoza; Michelle Hector Nava; along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her God children Joseph; Rafael Jr.; Vivian; Dominique; and Jared. Pallbearers are Michael; Mario; Joseph; Omar; Gilbert L.; Gilbert Sr.; Rafael Jr.; and Joseph P.; Angel; Vito; Israel; Jalen; and Jaden. Honorary Pallbearers are Otalio Lopez Jr.; Andrew Ray Lopez; Donnell Devon Jenkins; Guadalupe; Shawn; Royce; Elijah; Edward; Averi; Matthew; Josiah; Andrew Jr.; and Steven Mata. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 5th from 5-7 p.m. at Gateway Covenant Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Covenant Church followed by a graveside at Restwood Memorial Park.
