Mavis C. Penney

Mavis worked for many years as Child Caregiver in day cares in Austin. She was a nurturer who lived to love & take care of her family. She enjoyed playing the piano; hearing jokes, making faces & laughing. She was always smiling. She liked to travel to Las Vegas and loved watching her Dallas Cowboys.

Mavis is preceded in death by, Her parents; Ben & Lou Ella Estes; Brother, Ben Curtis Estes; and Sister, Madelyn Jackson.

Mavis is survived by her Husband, John Penney; Son, John Penney II and his wife Vicki Penney; and Daughter, Gail Adams and her husband Mark Adams; four grandsons and five great-grand children.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Charley Penney, Kyle Penney, John Richardson, David Adams, Justin Penney, Joseph Penney.

Funeral service will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Saturday December 23, 2017 at 10:30am, followed by the graveside at Restwood Memorial Park.
