He was employed by UPS for 26 years (loving every opportunity to share Jesus) before his retirement in 2000. Mike was very active in the Church ministry all his life and alongside his wife, Aver, answered a call from the Lord in 1988 to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ thru song, Word, and testimony at churches, revivals, conventions and festivals across the United States, Europe and Mexico. The ministry also included TV, Radio and CD recordings. They established “Harreld of Praise Ministries” in 1995 when they went full-time seeing many come to Christ. He and his wife currently hold weekly group Bible Studies in their home. Though Mike’s main love was serving the Lord Jesus, he also was a classic car enthusiast.
