Otila Trevino Cantu, 84, of Lake Jackson passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. Otila was born on June 15, 1933 in San Rafael, Mexico to Lucio and Maria Magdalene Trevino, and lived in Lake Jackson for over 40 years with her husband, Inez and their four sons. She enjoyed her flowers and plants; especially her roses; she also loved to go to flea markets. She was preceded in death by her parents Lucio and Maria Magdalene Trevino; her husband of 55 years, Inez Guajardo Cantu; and her son, Juan "Johnny" Cantu. Otila is survived by her sister, Lela Campos; sons, Gustavo (Nora) Cantu, Sergio Noe (Herlinda) Cantu, Arturo (Laurie) Cantu; daughter-in-law, Phyllis; grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Estevan, James (Eileen) Cantu, Veronica, Grayson, Gabriel, Glory, and Elizabeth; great-grandchild, Jace. Services will be held at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute. The visitation will be on Wednesday, May 2, 2018; family time will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The family will receive friends and guests from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute, at the gravesite on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
