

Pablo (Paul) Perales Garcia, 94, of Lake Jackson, TX., passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 8, 2025. Paul Garcia was born to Juan and Manuela Perales Garcia on January 26, 1931, in Brazoria, Texas. Paul Garcia married Collette Easter Garcia in Lake Jackson, TX. on June 1, 2001.
Paul Garcia worked 13 years in Maintenance for Brazosport Independent School District, and 21 years as a Pipefitter for US Contractors. Paul was raised on a farm in Sugarland, Texas and attended Sugarland Independent School District. He moved to Freeport, TX., at the age of 21. He was married to Collette for 24 years and was a member of Saint Michaels Catholic Church, in Lake Jackson, Texas. He cherished family gatherings, enjoyed dancing, playing card games, fishing, gardening, and socializing with others. For over 20 years he volunteered with Brazosport Regional Volunteers supporting Brazosport Memorial Hospital; Brazosport Food Care, supporting Meals on Wheels; and Woodmen of the World, Unit 3147. In August of 2012, The Facts recognized Paul as an Unsung Hero for his unflinching selflessness.
Paul Garcia is preceded in death by parents Juan and Manuela Garcia, former wife and the mother of his children Dominga Garcia, son Joel Garcia Sr.; sisters Calla Garcia, Tina Sauceda; brothers Simon Garcia, Ysidro (Chilo) Garcia.
Paul Garcia is survived by wife Collette Easter Garcia; daughters Mariza (Ron) Damian, Belinda (Jim) Luna, and Paula Bloss; sons Richard (Mary) Garcia and John (Delores) Garcia; Normette Moore, Nanette Freelon, Lucinda (Lloyd) Barr; Norman Jr. (Theresa) Easter; Billy (Tricia) Easter; 35 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Bloss, Andrew Damian, Ron Damian Jr., Joel Garcia Jr., Justin Garcia, Rick Garcia, Steven Garcia, and Ryan Luna.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Barr, Eric Barr, Ben Damian, Daniel Easter, William Easter II, Matthew Freelon, Domingo Garcia, Manny Hinojos, Jerry Moore Jr., Pedro Requena, Keagan Smith.
Family will receive friends for visitation and funeral services on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Lake Jackson, Texas. The Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Rosary at 10:50 AM, and Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow immediately at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, Texas.
