

Patricia Ann Carleton of Angleton, Texas passed away peacefully April 9, 2026 at the age of 90. She was born February 4, 1936 to A.J. and Patricia Beck in Waelder, Texas. Patricia came from a large family which included five siblings. For over 50 years there were many family gatherings of well over 50 relatives, where lasting memories were made and cherished. While in high school, Patricia met her future husband Sammy Carleton of Gonzales, Texas. Pat and Sam were married 66 years, until his passing in Dec. 2020. They enjoyed traveling the country in their RV and spending summers at their cabin in Colorado. Patricia loved to cook, do yard work, play dominoes, and maintain the family's home until her health failed.
She and Sam raised their children in the First Baptist Church of Angleton, where they continued their membership until their passing, while making many lifetime friends through the church. Pat was also an Endowed member of the Eastern Star Chapter 1023 of Waelder, TX.
Pat and Sam had four children; Pamela (Terry) Roberts of Angleton, Kenneth (Laurie) Carleton of Tyler, Gayelyn (Danny) Daniels of Lake Jackson, and Kevin (Lisa) Carleton of Lake Jackson. Patricia was a dedicated wife, mother, and cherished her role as homemaker, but her most prized position was that of "Nana". She was Nana to her 6 grandchildren; Brandon Cryer, Kyle (Jessica) Roberts, Courtney (Chris) Craig, Lindsey Hedrick (Wesley Smirak), Austin Carleton, and Hailey Huddle. They were also blessed with 8 great-grandchildren; Gavin and Cooper Craig, Brynlee, Ada, Ethan, and Logan Roberts, Everly Hedrick, and Kylan Smirak.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings, husband, Sam, son-in-law, Terry Roberts, and granddaughter, Hailey Huddle.
The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you and gratitude to her dedicated caregiver, Elva Costrean.
Services for Patricia will be held at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, TX (1038 W. Plantation Dr. Clute, TX) on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with viewing and visitation starting at 12 noon, funeral services commencing at 1 pm, with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the First Baptist Church of Angleton, 972 Anchor Rd., Angleton, TX 77515.
