Paul Carroll Bartlett Sr.

He is preceded in death by his Wonderful Wife Elizabeth Julia Ramsey whom he married on Jan. 1, 1948. Eldest Daughter, Barbara Ann Hennessy, three brothers, Floyd, Jack, Claude, and his four sisters Stella, Ruby, Mary and Verna. He is survived by his son Paul Carroll Bartlett, Jr. grandchildren Paul Carroll Bartlett III, Matthew and Courtney. His daughter Bonnie and husband Mike Demland, whom he considered a son. His granddaughter Jennifer and husband Jonathaon Talley, their children, Paul's great grandchildren Kaylie, Hannah, Nathan and Alexis. His Grandson Shawn Hennessy and wife Brittni, and their children, Paul's great grandchildren Dylan, Madison, Aubrey, and Ex son-in-law Jerry Hennessy.

Paul and family are blessed to have had a remarkable friend in Dr. David Graham and his wife Janet they are considered Family as well as Ex son-in-law Eddie Christman who was a great companion and always there when Paul or Elizabeth needed him.

We are also very grateful for his health care helper and friend Marika Gigic and her caring sons Deiuq, Elvis and Ennis.

Paul was a Jaycee, served term in the TSRA as President, and also as a Mason, Paul served in the Army Air Core in WWII.

Paul was active in the Gulf Coast Conservation Association which evolved into the CCA (Coast Conservation) and was on the ground floor in helping to establish the Sea Center in Lake Jackson. Paul was a member of the Greenwood Gun Club and taught Gun safety in his concealed gun classes. He was very much an outdoorsman. Paul was an avid fisherman and hunter, but softened up on the hunting many years ago, because of his admiration of the animals. He loved boating and fishing so much he changed the automobile repair business he started back in the late 40's to an outboard engine and boat sales and repair with the help of Elizabeth in the early 50's.

Paul will be laid to rest on August 18th at Restwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park.

The visitation will start at 8:30 am with services following at 10:30 am. The service will be casual attire.

Officiating services will be Dearle R. Marrs.

Pall bearers will be Paul Bartlett Jr, Mike Demland, Shawn Hennessy, Jonathon Talley, Mike Tavary and Deiuq Gigic.
